This skillfully engineered and hand selected IRS brake conversion is the best quality kit on the market!!
Made here in Southern California, this independent rear suspension conversion kit comes ready to fit all '55-'67 early split bus suspensions. Our kits' brackets allow owners to lower the rear suspension by rotating the shackle irons on the torsion tubes while not altering your buses wheel camber.

Please note: To run this Vintage V-Dubs IRS conversion kit, you'll need existing TypeIII/Thing compatible drums, stub axles, control arms, CV Joints, transmission, and brake lines; or you'll need a rear end of an IRS bug. Need help finding these parts? We can help! (Existing Type 1 or 3 set up will lower a minimum of 1-1/2″ and a Thing setup will keep you at a stock height.)
