Unavailable for many years, EMPI product engineers have created a highly accurate reproduction of the original fuel tank for 1956-1960 Beetle and Karmann Ghia using SolidWorks CAD for a perfect fit and trouble-free installation. Constructed of stamped mild steel, TIG welded and finished in black, these tanks will deliver years of leak and fume-free operation. Just like the original, this is a “dipstick” tank, there is no provision for a fuel level sender.
